Greetings Life-long Learners,
As a member of the 0 to 8 Mental Health Collaborative Leadership Team, you have been registered for the Powerful Presentations training about using Zoom for remote meetings and presentations for Monday, March 9 from 4-5pm. This will be a REMOTE workshop so you can join from anywhere. There will not be a physical meeting at HCOE.
What you need to do:
Make sure you have a reliable internet connection and a laptop, desktop, or tablet with a camera and microphone (the built in cameras work fine for this). Some people like to have headphones available to help them concentrate and focus on the online meeting.
A few minutes before 4 pm click on this link: (https://zoom.us/j/9994659327)
If this is your first time using Zoom on this device it will prompt you to download Zoom. Please follow the prompts and do so.
A pop up dialogue box will appear near the top of your screen that says, “Open Zoom Meetings?” Select “Open Zoom Meetings”
The Zoom meeting will launch and seconds later you should see Colby’s smiling face greeting you. Your microphone will likely be muted and your camera will be on-smile!
Colby will guide you from there.
Troubleshooting: If you can’t hear Colby or he can’t hear you: try using the “Chat” feature at the bottom center of the screen to type a message to Colby. He can guide you.
